Thank you to all of those who have contributed this year! Your contributions will help our programs continue to enrich the lives of students, foster youth, emerging playwrights and seniors across the county.
Since we began in 1985, we have provided outstanding arts education programs to the San Diego community. Now in our 31st year, we have continued our core education programs, including in-school playwriting residencies and the statewide
California Young Playwrights Contest serving young people, and our annual
Plays by Young Writers festival, which features winning scripts from the contest and delights audiences of all ages. Additionally, we have expanded our programming to reach under-served populations. We conduct community storytelling programs which offer individuals (seniors, military, former foster youth, immigrants) the opportunity to create scripts that are performed by professional actors. We couldn't do the work we do without such loyal and generous supporters!
