Thank you to all who took part in the production and attended the performances and talk backs.
Soul Fire marks the inaugural production of our new Mosaic program, honoring the spirit and vision of the Mo'olelo Performing Arts Company by professionally producing plays drawn from local communities.

In the words of the Sage Man, "As we speak and listen -- ask for new hearts, to feel the way forward. Then, and only then, will we awaken."
Your gift to Playwrights Project is an investment in our local community.

Playwrights Project is honored and delighted to be a recipient of funding from the California Arts Council, which supports our in-school playwriting residencies for low income and at-risk youth and our annual Plays by Young Writers festival. We also receive support from the California Arts Council to conduct our Out of the Yard playwriting programs for justice involved adults at numerous correctional facilities and community centers throughout San Diego county through their Arts in Corrections program (via the William James Association) and Reentry programs.
